New contract award for the construction of the Balance of Plant (BOP) part of the extraordinary maintenance and modernization of Line 2 of the Trieste waste-to-energy plant – HERAtech S.r.l. – HERA Group

Europower in November was awarded the contract for the construction of the Balance of Plant (BOP) works as part of the extraordinary maintenance and modernization of Line 2 of the Trieste waste-to-energy plant. The project had an emergency start and is therefore already enforce. The expected duration of the project is 778 calendar days and includes, among other things, the site preparation, the replacement of the has transport and storage system of the three lines, adaptation of the electrical systems, repowering of the steam turbine, replacement of feed water pumps, replacement of the main water condenser, expansion of the cooling system to evaporative towers. The award was made possible thanks to the contribution of AC Boilers, which participates in the project in joint venture together with Righi Elettromeccanica and Europower.
